Synopsis
In this romantic comedy thriller from director Stephen Hung, Dan (Andy Lau), a sophisticated jewel thief, manages to steal two priceless pieces of jewelry during the Cannes Film Festival, but he has one last piece in his sights before he can retire from his dangerous line of work – the Rope of Life, owned by a billionaire in Prague. Hot on his trail is a detective (Jean Reno) who is using Dan’s ex Amy (Shu Qi) as bait to capture the suave thief. But before he can put his plan in action, Amy is kidnapped, and Dan and the detective team up to rescue Amy – and the Rope of Life - in this fast-paced adventure that takes audiences on a wild ride from the French Riviera to the glittering island of Macau.
