  • Synopsis
  • In 246 BC, Qin Ying Zheng became the King Of Qin at the tender age of 13. He was ably assisted in his rule by top courtier Liao Ai and his prime minster, Lu Buwei. On Assuming his full power as king, he set about systematically defeating his enemies on by one and integrating them into a united China, its first empire, with himself as first emperor.

    The tireless new emperor then set about burning all the conflicting literature that abounded throughout the provinces of his new realm in order to unify the thinking of his people to avoid future conflicts.
    The emperor was also responsible for what became known as the 'Three Unification' which were the unification of all weights and measures, the unification of the chinese written language.
    Simultaneously, 500,000 soldiers to guard southern China and 500,000 labourers to build the "Great Wall". 300,000 troops guard the frontiers to the north against the marauding Xiongnu tribes, another 700,000 men to construct the beautiful E'fang Palace and mausoleum as well as a full blown political administration spread throughout the empire...
