Synopsis
In the Ming Dynasty when Japanese pirates are in cahoots with the local officials, Shaolin Monk - Yue Kong (Hung Tianzhao) and Yue Wen (Cui Lin) commit themselves to stop them. However, as both monks become acquainted to Li Ruolan (Liu Ying) and a Japanese swordswoman Ippon Hideko (Li Man), they are drawn into romantic entanglements. Yue Kong is force to leave Shaolin, while Yue Wen is manipulated by his own father, a country magistrate in disguise. A senior monk is killed as a result, and Yue Wen is reduced to disability.....
