The concert hall will also act as a symbol for the newly merged city as it wil be constructed over a former waste disposal site. Under this situation, the mayor's daughter Tadako Isaka (Yuriko Ishida) is also busy reviving the chorus group "Shansonzu". Takako Isaka then meets Mio Kurasaka without her father, the mayor, knowing about the meeting. Mio Kurasaka arrives in her hometown. When Mio faces the members of the chorus group "Shansonzu," she becomes dumbfounded. The skills of the chrous group are amateur at best, but Mio doesn't have other options and decides to go forward with "Shansonzo".
