Synopsis
Consist of 3 episodes: Encounter, Awakening, & Begeneration, complete OVA.

Angel Sanctuary is the tale of Setsuna Mudo, a teenaged high school student. He is no ordinary student; he is the earthly incarnation of organic Angel Alexiel, and is in love with his blood sister, Sara.

The anime picks up when two groups are trying to re-awaken Alexiels spirit. One is her brother, Rosiel and the other the demon she saved. The demon uses direct assult to try and awaken Alexiel, whereas Rosiel uses golems shaped as fellow students to torture Setsuna's sister Sara. Alexiel has impure love for setsuna's sister, and Setsuna is sttacked and Sara kidnaped. When Setsuna goes to save her, Alexiel apears and revives the dying Setsuna (he's been nearly killed by the golems) and kills the golems. Alexiel goes back to sleep and Setsuna realizes that he has an angel in him.

Eventuly, Setsuna runs away with his sister, so that they may be lovers without scorning looks, to a land where no one knows them. He is happy. However, Rosiel has different plans. He kills Sara, and awakens Alexiels rath. She has no reason to live in a world without Sara, so she distroys earth and floats above it in a dream like state. When she reaslises that it is indeed a dream, she comes back down and faces the facts. The Holy Hermit tells Alexiel that he must be stabed in the heart with the 7 bladed sword so that he may visit hades and revive Sara. And so it ends...
