  • Synopsis
  • "You won't be better off if you're with someone, so I like being on my own." That's the motto Du, Kai-Chi lives by because there are only two things that can excite her: comics and food. She's the sous chef at La Maison.

    Fu, Zhi-Jie is a fantastic chef trained in French cuisine, who wishes to stay out of the limelight. Due to a misunderstanding with his older brother, Zhi-Jie lives by himself in France. As time passes, he gets used to living on his own, and likes the simple joys of a single life. But to satisfy his father's wishes, he agrees to come back from France, and become an intern at his father's restaurant - La Maison. Everyone working in the restaurant likes to shove around the rookie, mistaking him as a clueless and clumsy intern when he is actually a master chef with extraordinary culinary skills - not to mention, he's also the restaurant owner's youngest son.

    While he works in La Maison, Zhi-Jie would often secretly help Kai-Chi so she wouldn't be bullied by the chefs. Kai-Chi gradually realizes that Zhi-Jie has a way of influencing her mood, she's not as cool-headed as she used to be! But what excites Kai-Chi more is that she is now much closer to finding the mysterious Chef she has always admired - Chef Louis. While she was looking for certain ingredients, Kai-Chi suddenly realizes add clues which all seem to indicate that Chef Louis is in face the inconspicuous restaurant intern, Zhi-Jie!
