- In order to protect his benefactor's daughter-in-law, YUEN SO-SUM (Elaine Yiu), throughout her pregnancy and childbirth, cold-blooded executioner YIP SHEUNG-LUK (Kenny Wong) arranges for SO-SUM to settle down in the home of a renowned midwife in town, FA YUI-HUNG (Maggie Shiu).
