Ah Ching (Carol Ching) moves to a village to escape the pressure from her work and the stress of living in a city not knowing that her life is going to be more exiting than before. She then befriends Pak Lam (Cheng Pak Lam) an innocent kid with a gambler father, Uncle Tat (Ng Mang Tat).
Cousin (To Siu Chun) is a thief who hides himself in Ah Ching's rented car from his cold-blooded partner, Kwok. Kwok and his gang are looking for Cousin and are willing to kill in order to have the jewellery Cousin kept. Ah Ching and Pak Lam do not know that they are in great danger as the jewellery is place in Pak Lam's home.
