When people approach middle age, they begin to regret of something missed earlier in life, complaining about they wish they had done thing differently. Xu Zhe, Guo Qiang, Zhan Hao & Jia Bao, four youngsters from different backgrounds, share one dream - a life of music. However, the band they have formed encounters a challenge when Xu Zhe & Guo Qiang fall for the same girl. Xu Zhe dissolves the band and with their dreams in shambles. Their friendship comes to an end.

Ten years later, Guo Qiang & Xu Zhe meet again and begins as career rivals. Guo Qiang outdoes Xu Zhe, which he sees as payback for the past. Without a job, Xu Zhe also spirals into a marital crisis and begins to regret his past actions. As he flounders, he abruptly receives a chance to return to the past. This time, how will things work out?
