  • ストーリー紹介
  • In order to protect his benefactor's daughter-in-law, YUEN SO-SUM (Elaine Yiu), throughout her pregnancy and childbirth, cold-blooded executioner YIP SHEUNG-LUK (Kenny Wong) arranges for SO-SUM to settle down in the home of a renowned midwife in town, FA YUI-HUNG (Maggie Shiu). As such, they run into an obscure murder, and SHEUNG-LUK even uses his saber to help save a new life. Due to the unknown background of this newborn baby boy, SHEUNG-LUK and YUI-HUNG are involuntarily caught up in the whirlwind of political infighting. As a team, they play cohesively and competently despite being poles apart in personality, managing to avert disaster over and over again. Slowly, their love grows in the face of adversity. On the other hand, childhood sweethearts CHIK CHI-TSAU (Matt Yeung) and CHUK SIU-MOON (Katy Kung), who grow up together in a brothel, arrive at YUI-HUNG's home, beseeching SHEUNG-LUK to take CHI-TSAU as his apprentice. In fact, CHI-TSAU is up to something as he attempts to take advantage of this to avoid punishment, so SHEUNG-LUK cannot make up his mind. With the sudden appearance of a mysterious magician, SZEMA CAU (Joel Chan), they all get entangled in complicated relationships. Gradually, the real identity of the baby boy is unmasked, sounding the death knell in the meantime...
